Download Specification of STM-9500G
STM-9500G atsc rf modullator support DVB-ASI and SMPTE-310 input. After modulating the inputting signals through ATSC 8-VSB, it can output RF signals in the range between 50~860MHz.
In other words, this atsc rf modulator supports the coding and modulating mode under the ATSC-T A/53 standard. It also supports adaptive non-linear and linear digital pre-distortion (DPD). Additionally, the system of this device can be online controlled and upgraded through the network, which can be widely used in ATSC-T digital broadcasting coax cables network, and the testing for ATSC-T set-top box design.
*Full compliance with ATSC A/53 standard
*Dual channel DVB-ASI/SMPTE-310M input, automatic switch-over and hot backup
*Dual IP input ports, GE ports, over UDP/RTP
*RF range: 50MHz~860MHz,1Hz stepping
*Front panel and IP remote control
*RS coding, data interleaving, Trellis coding
*Supports adaptive linear or non-linear digital pre-distortion (DPD)
*Adopts constant-temperature crystal oscillator, the frequency stability can be up to 0.1 PPM
*Excellent RF output performance: EVM, MER, SNR, shoulder level and etc.
*Remote maintenance, monitoring and software upgrading
*NMS, Keyboard and LCD operation
Technical Parameter
ATSC_VCT configuration background:
North American TV standards are received in ATSC and DVBC (J.83B) modes, and there is a fixed set of sorting display methods.
Collation is XX.YY
XX range is 01-99
YY range is 01-999
If the VCT insertion enable is not enabled, the XX value refers to the serial number corresponding to the output frequency point, such as 471MHZ, the serial number is 65, you can refer to the ATSC frequency table in the United States. For the YY value, refer to service id/program number. Display in decimal. As shown in the figure below, if there is no insertion, it is displayed as 65.125
If the VCT insertion enable is enabled, the XX value refers to the Major Channel Number, and the YY value refers to the Minor Channel Number. The program name display refers to the Short Name. As shown in the figure below, if inserted, it will be displayed as 1.1 prog1 Source ID, each program must be different, this is the identification to distinguish different programs.
